mission + vision

LA Heroines is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, whose mission is to put love into action by inspiring others to serve, build, and empower women in need. The LA Heroines strives to be the leading community resource, enabling women to embody the Heroines that they are by providing 1) access to feminine care 2) tools for growth, and 3) a platform for inspiration.

projects

In pursuit to serve, build, and empower women in need, the LA Heroines has dedicated their time and efforts to the following projects:

  1. #FEMMEssentials Project 

    providing women in need with pads and tampons and ensuring that our local homeless shelters and community resource centers are supplied with basic feminine essential care.

  2.   LAH Scholarship Program 

    providing tools for growth and financial support to deserving and hardworking students from low-income families and disadvantaged communities.

  3. Inspire.Her Platform 

    providing an online platform for inspiration where women can engage, inspire, and collaborate with one another in pursuit of growth, passion, and kindness.

  4. Other

    supporting other programs and campaigns in collaboration with other organizations who are in need of assistance (ie: Welcome Home Helpers Program by My Friend’s Place and Women Build Campaign by Habitat for Humanity).
